Tips for Yaoi Fiction Writers #1Tip 1: Names
Please choose your names carefully. I cannot stress enough the importance of names, they provide the first impression of your character. If you are not writing with a great deal of description, or are leaving the bulk of your character description until later, then the name you choose may create the enduring impression on the reader.
One of the things that can make your writing seem painfully amateur is the desire to choose ‘unusual’ for your characters. There is a fine line between distinct names and absurd ones. Usually it’s better to play it safe.
One of the warning signs is if your names carry an inordi

Women Don't Need Men.Ok, this has been on my mind all week and I feel like I’m going to go (further) insane if I don’t get it out now.
My fellow males…we are not necessary for the opposite sex.
That’s right. Women do NOT need us. Whatever roles or jobs society deems are fit for men, they can handle just fine.
Seriously, think about it. Head of the household? Check. Breadwinner? Check. Positive role model for children? CHECK. Security and protection? Check. Heck, they don’t even need us to do simple stuff like dispose of pests and rodents, or other things you’d think a man would handle. And, when it comes right down to it, t
DC and Marvel are sexist, EschDC and Marvel are sexist, Eschergirls told me so.
Or, "how the eschergirls are talking shit"
Now, any comic book fan who has been online for more than a week is aware of the eschergirls blog & the hawkeye initiative constantly complaining about what they characterise as poor artwork... An from that many white knights have come out to scream "SEXISM," in the hopes that they'll get to play with jiggly lady parts in exchange... Atleast thats my assumption on why they do it.
Some will even go as far as to say that DC/Marvel in specific & the comic book industry in general has some kind of sexist trend, of turning women into sex objects, due to
Do You Hear What I Hear?As I idly browsed the various weather stats this morning on Google, typing in such far-flung locales as Butte, Montana; Reykjavik, Iceland; London, UK; and Kabul, Afghanistan, it struck me that indeed, there are United States military personnel who are stationed in that country...right now as I sit here.
And how true is that thought!
Here I am, by God's grace, sitting in the relative safety of a free country while under the same sky...breathing the same air, are my countrymen and women...hearing perhaps the whistle of incoming shells instead of robins chirping, smelling smoke from burning vehicles instead of lilacs in the morning breeze, se

Hey Bloody Roar fans!Hey Bloody Roar fans! It's been a while since I got the chance to add to my comic, but you may have noticed that I just added over 10 pages to Uriko's story. I was so busy with school lately, that I didn't get a chance before, so after I finished, I had this immense window of time to kill, and so I used it to further the story. 10 pages at once is a lot to follow up on, but that's why the pages are numbered. As for the Bloody-Roar-lovers fanpage, you may have noticed that I only posted about 4 pics from this 10 pic run. Because I love you people, I probably won't post all 10 pics, in order to avoid dominating the forum. I think from now on,
Ideas for Future Racing SimulationsNow that Forza Motorsport 5 and Gran Turismo 6 have been announced, racing fans have a good excuse to get excited-or do they? If a game simply recycles the same material over and over again, only adding new vehicles for racing games or new players for sports games, people are bound to get bored with it. Here are my ideas for racing simulations that I hope will not only keep people interested, but attract new players as well:
Better damage penalties Now, I know because of vehicle licensing agreements, that you're not going to see real-world vehicles get sliced in half or be engulfed in flames. But we do need a better system for deterring v
New story series.I am starting up a new series of pregnant work. I'm putting the Surrogate Angel series on the back burner until I can figure out what I want to do with it. But just so you all know, I am doing a new story series involving pregnancy.

Sonic Universe #52
2x the Blue! 2x the Adventure!
Yeah right. Let me remind you all, this is Sonic Universe. The entire series is mainly focused on not-Sonic characters. So don't expect that, let alone print it. Talk about starting off bad, and its just the cover!
The main introduction scene is the main heroes of Sonic, Mega Man, Tails, Proto Man and Rush arriving in the Skull Egg Zone.
Wait, Rush is here? Let's back up; Mega Man #25. You see the ending scene of Mega Man patting Rush in a f

62nd Entry: Hawk Allen JournalSunlight cast a glow on Ms Fink's legs as she leaned against her desk. "Those with smart-phones please Google, Lerner pleads 5th. Click on the Youtube video and share with those who don't." She did the same and watched as we did.
"Omigawd," said Tracy Skavin. "How can she say she's innocent and plead the 5th?"
Ali Sims shook her head. "I don't get it. What's the big deal? Who cares what the IRS does?"
Thomas snorted. "Have your folks ever been audited? Mine have."
I jumped on this. "Did it begin in 2011? Your dad is a Tea Partier, isn't he?"
He sat up. "Yea!"
"But what does it mean?" asked Ali.
Cindy Rush raised her hand. "Means the government is intruding into our lives. It's like in Harry Potter -- the Far Left are the Death Eaters who've infested the Ministry, Conservatives are Half-bloods and regular folk like us, muggles."
"Interesting allegory," said Ms Fink. "As a Liberal, I feel this is taking things too far. It's one thing to argue an agenda, quite another to stiff
61st Entry: Hawk Allen JournalDonald, Graham and I stood at our locker harmonizing:
Dooba whoop dooba-dooba whoop . . . (repeat)
You make me hard
Very horny very very horny!
Very horny very very horny!
I'll love you once more, then get off some more
YOU MAKE ME HARD
(break. 1st voice continue)
Uncha uncha (clap clap double-clap) . . . (repeat)
You so hot, you really got my case!
Now all I want is to hump your face!
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"Er, hi, Ms Van-H. We were just, er, serenading ladies?"
Her eyes rolled skyward, she shook her head and pointed down the hall, indicating we should go to class.
Donald hesitated. "My class is that way."
Heads hung, eyes downcast, we went.
By lunch-time, the entire faculty knew about it. A few gave disapproving glances but most ap
My Review of Star Trek: Into DarknessThe crew of USS Enterprise is back in a big way, with classic interactions that harken to the original series and a few new ones that give added color to the iconic characters. Better yet, it references episodes and characters from the original with a casual flare that reminds us this is the original crew in an altered reality which resulted from Nero's time journey in the previous movie. Familiarity with the original makes many minor points and dialog exchanges appreciated. Die-hard Trekkies will be the ones laughing at points where younger folk will ask, Whad I miss?
The visuals are stunning. Not because of awesome detail but because of situation scope and impact -- literally gave me goosebumps! The alien creatures are cleverly designed and well placed. The Sasquach-Bear-Morope beast in the opening scene is superb and the familiar ball of fur very cleverly included. I particularly like how the Klingons are re-envisioned. Several xeno crew-members are products of latex and make
59th Entry: Hawk Allen JournalI sat with the girls on a bench awaiting our bus when a brawl broke out not far. Not a typical shout and poke, these guys really went at it with closed fists and wild punches, a few good shoves and grapples. A mob closed around them, screaming and jeering.
"Hawk, aren't you gonna do something?" asked Cathy.
I shrugged. "Why? Sittin' with two purdy ladies, leg in each hand . . . I'm comfortable."
Susan rolled her eyes. "Shouldn't you break it up?"
"Meh, how 'bout I do color commentary instead?" I squeezed their knees before getting up, adjusted my tent and stood on the bench. "Ooh, that musta hurt! -- Clay made contact with Burt's nose. John and Berry have Glen in the corner but he's a fighter and not giving in! Ho! Those windmill swings made contact! Bam! -- Burt connected the Big Boot! But the numbers game is just too much, Glen is takin' a beating and -- Oh! -- Stone Cold! Stone Cold!"
"Hawk, what are you doing?"
"Er, hi Ms Van-H. I was just---"
She regarded me with grave disappoint.
characters and dialogShapely legs so smooth they reflected sunlight, beckoned me from across the mall. Framed by denim shorts and cowgirl boots, they drew me forward. I was helpless to resist, conscious only of those stunning limbs. When I looked up, her walnut brown eyes smiled and checked me as she spoke to her phone. I smiled back. When she showed no sign of terminating the call, I took the opportunity to continue admiring her. She crossed and recrossed her ankles, shifted her weight, struck a few casual poses for me and leaned against the wall while conversing.
Taking this as an invitation, I squat beside her and careful to pull back if needed, stroked up a boot-leg to caress her knee. She didn't tense up nor catch her voice but moved her foot closer to me. Several people turned as they walked by; one lady looked away embarrassed, a man grinned and a trio of girls giggled. I just smiled, lost in the moment, caressing her leg.
"Hello?" she repeated a little louder, looking amused.
"Hi!" Hand on her knee
Self Image TipsOkay folks, it's a new year, time to start things afresh. You've made your resolutions and said things will be different and better. Good for you. Time to get started.
1. LEARN YOUR COLORS: Speak with an image consultant, a cosmetic specialist, read self-help. Learn what your skin tone is and find what colors work best to compliment you, your eyes and hair. Be warned, you may be surprised what you thought worked, really doesn't. Keep an open mind and use dressing rooms to check out recommendations. Remember, you're starting over!
2. WORK THE HAIR: Study the shape of your face and definition of your brow line. Look at pictures of celebs with similar features and examine how they've wor
